[CRYOLIST] Vacancy at the British Antarctic Survey: GIS Officer for NERC's iSTAR Programme

The British Antarctic Survey is currently looking for a  GIS Officer to develop an open-access, web-based GIS for the Pine Island Glacier system, primarily based on data sets from the NERC iSTAR Antarctic Research Programme (http://www.istar.ac.uk/)

You will need a PhD in a glaciology or geophysics-related field (or an MSc with relevant, equivalent work experience) including a substantial GIS component. This is a one-year fixed-term appointment based in Cambridge and the salary is in the range £28,200 to £30,600.
