[CRYOLIST] Workshop opportunity for PhD Students: MISOMIP 2018

The Climate and Cryosphere (CliC) project of the World Climate Research
Program (WCRP) has initiated a Targeted Activity named the Marine Ice Sheet
- Ocean Modeling Intercomparison Project (MISOMIP
<http://www.climate-cryosphere.org/activities/targeted/misomip>) to advance
coupled glacier-ocean modeling for West Antarctica. The MISOMIP effort is
also an activity of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR
<https://www.scar.org/science/frisp/links/>). To date, first and second
workshops were held in 2014 and 2016.
During May 7-9, 2018, a third workshop is being organized, hosted by the
NYU Abu Dhabi Research Institute (RI
<https://nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/impact.html>) and the Center for global
Sea-Level Change (CSLC
The workshop will be held at the campus of NYUAD on Saadiyat Island, UAE.
Limited support is available for several graduate students involved in
MISOMIP/MISMIP/ISOMIP related research as part of their thesis work.
