Dear colleagues,

We are inviting applications for a PhD position (3.5 years) and a Postdoc position (3 years) at the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), member of the Helmholtz Association, in Potsdam, Germany. The positions are part of the ERC-funded project “Climate sensitivity of glacial landscape dynamics (COLD)”. The main aim of COLD <https://www.gfz-potsdam.de/en/section/earth-surface-geochemistry/projects/cold/> is to quantify how erosion rates in glacial landscapes vary with climate change and how such changes affect the dynamics of mountain glaciers. The COLD-team will consist of 3 PhD students, 1 postdoc researcher, and the PI D. Scherler.

Please, have a look at the job adverts of the PhD position <https://gfz-potsdam.concludis.de/prj/shw/291597a100aadd814d197af4f4bab3a7_0/642/PhD_position_m_f.htm?lang=en_GB> and the Postdoc position <https://gfz-potsdam.concludis.de/prj/shw/ab233b682ec355648e7891e66c54191b_0/654/Postdoc_position_m_f.htm?lang=en_GB>.

Starting dates are both August 1st, 2018, or by agreeement.
