At Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, we have two open positions at professor and senior lectureship levels at the Faculty of Engineering and Environment that might be of interest to the members of the cryolist.
We invite applications for:
Professor / Associate Professor in Physical Geography and Environmental Science.

The job specifications for both of these roles is intentionally quite broad and open to all suitably qualified applicants, in particular candidates with expertise aligned with existing strengths in cold and palaeoenvironments, environmental geochemistry and ecology, and those with experience at the science-policy interface.
Northumbria has an active research group focusing on Extreme Environments and a large number of full-time staff members working on research topics related to the cryosphere.
