[CRYOLIST] US Permafrost Association: Student and Early Career Travel Grants to AGU

Attention student and early career permafrost researchers!
The U.S. Permafrost Association will be awarding $500 travel grants and the
$1000 Andrew Slater Award for U.S. based students and post-graduate
researchers (within six years of their last degree) to attend the American
Geophysical Union Fall Meeting 2019. Applicants will be evaluated on a
merit basis and must be first author on a permafrost-related research
presentation at AGU and possess both USPA and PYRN memberships. One of the
grants is reserved for engineering disciplines. Undergraduate students are
encouraged to apply.
You can join or renew membership to USPA and access the funding application
(under "What's News?") at https://uspermafrost.org/.
Applications are due by email to Kelsey Nyland (knyland at gwu.edu) on
November 1st at midnight (Eastern Time).
